JOB SUMMARY 

The Fruit Cost Accountant will be responsible for calculating the grower fruit return for both IMG owned groves, associated growers and purchased fruit from Florida or South American growers.  The position is responsible for tracking all the costs in the ERP system (Microsoft NAV) throughout the season and calculating the grower’s final return. The Fruit Cost Accountant will assist in the month end closing process and generate weekly, monthly and year-end reports for management.  

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Perform job costing for IMG Citrus owned groves including reconciliation with general ledger

  • Manage import process to ensure accurate costing and calculation of grower return

  • Calculate and prepare grower’s final settlement statement for review and approval

  • Generate weekly and monthly dashboard reports

  • Perform month end closing duties

  • Assist with year-end audit

  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor
     

 JOB SUMMARY 

  • Prior experience in cost accounting or fruit accounting

  • High school diploma required

  • 2+ years of accounting experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Detailed oriented and ability to meet deadlines
