    JOB SUMMARY    

We are seeking a self-motivated, organized individual for an Accounting Clerk position.  This position will perform AR/AP duties and is the point of contact for visitors and customers coming to the farm and/or calling the office.  The person will manage vehicle inventory, insurance, office and travel expenses and.  The position requires good communication and organizational skills.  

 

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • AR-Invoicing, PP Customer Setup, Run customer CC, Send out credit inquiries, Email missing invoices, Apply payments

  • AP-Assign and attach AP Invoices, Maintain AP Email, Check AP Statements, Run and work AP Report, Obtain COIs from Subcontractors, Complete Construction lien releases, Set up new vendors, Reconcile credit card statements

  • Scan and upload vehicle folders to Google drive

  • Save lockbox and credit card reports daily

  • Answer phones/Greet visitors

  • Mail-Post mail/Take to mailbox/Pick up from mailbox/Sort and Stamp mail/Record postage used

  • Month-end closing processes-balance postage and give report and collect money/CC Activity Report

  • Manage company vehicles including check in/out vehicles, sunpass, insurance, registrations, titles, etc

  • Maintain office supply inventory and order supplies as needed

  • All other duties assigned by supervisor

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years Office Administration/ Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable experience.

  • Associate's degree or certification in Accounting a plus, but not required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.  Ability to articulate well with a variety of departments.

  • Professional appearance with ability to work in a fast paced environment, maintaining a high degree of organization and quality

  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, organize, and demonstrate initiative

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required.

 

REQUIRED LICENSES/HOURS OF WORK

  • Associate's degree or certification in accounting a plus, but not required.

  • Hours: Monday through Friday, start and end times vary depending on organizational needs.
