The Copywriter plays a key role in shaping the voice of Cherrylake, OUTSIDE Collab, IMG Citrus, and IMG Enterprises across multiple platforms. As a key member of the marketing team, this role crafts compelling, brand-aligned messaging that connects with a variety of audiences and brings clarity, energy, and purpose to our communications.
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Copywriter with 4+ years of professional writing experience to develop engaging content that supports brand storytelling, marketing campaigns, and strategic communication goals. The ideal candidate is a strong writer who can adapt across voices and platforms, collaborate closely with design and strategy teams, and bring fresh ideas to the table. This role includes writing for social media, websites, email campaigns, press releases, brochures, and long-form content such as ghostwritten articles.
Write and edit brand-aligned content for websites, social media, email campaigns, press releases, brochures, scripts, and internal communications
Develop compelling taglines, headlines, and calls-to-action that support marketing goals and brand identity
Craft clear, engaging website copy optimized for user experience and SEO
Ghostwrite thought leadership pieces and long-form articles across a range of topics
Collaborate with designers and marketing team members to align copy with visual direction and strategic objectives
Conduct research, interviews, and reviews to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and consistent in tone and quality
Engage with each brand's market, customers, vendors, and influencers by attending company events and/or serving on the event management team
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field preferred
4+ years of professional copywriting or content creation experience
Strong portfolio showcasing both short- and long-form writing across multiple platforms
Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills
Solid understanding of branding and marketing strategy
Proven ability to write for diverse audiences and adapt tone across platforms
Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and sharp attention to detail
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Experience in agriculture, sustainability, B2B marketing, or PR/ghostwriting is a plus
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and in fast-paced environments as needed.
