Prior Pesticide spraying experience in nursery or citrus industry.
Working knowledge of pesticide applications and chemical application equipment.
One or more years of working experience in the area of horticulture, agribusiness, and landscaping or nursery production.
High school graduate with the ability to read, write and perform numerical calculations.
Organizational skills and quality assurance.
Working knowledge of tree identification ranging from, but not limited to, type, species, specification and preferred size.
Ability to plan and organize work according to Plant Health Supervisor orders while maintaining task-on-time schedules.
Able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of departments in a concise, professional manner.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Private Applicators License Florida (If no license, candidate must acquire a Private Applicators License within the first 180 days of employment.)
ISA Certified Arborist or FNGLA Horticulture Professional a plus.
Pesticide Applicators’ license a plus.
Valid Driver's License with clean MVR.
Monday through Sunday, 3pm - 11pm, Weather Permitting
Hours Varied, depending on organizational and weather conditions. Must be able to work nights or extended hours during the day and work on weekends as needed.
Job Site Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather (heat or cold).
