Marketing Communications Specialist
 

JOB SUMMARY 

 

The Marketing Communications Specialist opening is an exciting opportunity to work with established and newly emerging brands in the food and agriculture industry. Collaborating with multiple teams at our company, a successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding, design, events and marketing, with the ability to vary style depending on the project and brand.

Projects include social media marketing, email marketing, event coordination, photography, video recording and editing, creation and design of marketing collateral for web and print, presentations, and resource/press release writing. 

This position includes completing work for multiple brands for Cherrylake and its sister company, IMG Citrus.

Cherrylake
Work on a wide range of projects and media to showcase the established Cherrylake wholesale brand as well as related initiatives such as Curbside, OUTSIDE Collaborative, Farm Races and 1000 Trees for 1000 Years. Work with cross functional teams to amplify brand visibility, enhance client experience, and support operational growth.

IMG Citrus
Projects to showcase existing and new brands to serve our US retail market (ie Whole Foods, Kroger, Walmart) as well as our export markets in Europe and Asia. Work collaboratively with the marketing and sales teams to develop consumer engagement around our key in-house brands of Happy Food and Hellos.

IMG Enterprises
Event coordination and design of collateral for Organizational Development initiatives which include internal company events, recruiting, and campus branding.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES 

• Use original and creative thinking to develop concepts and finished materials from rough ideas or customer’s needs.

• Develop graphic art materials to be used for advertising, sales, organizational promotion and public relations (i.e. brochures, flyers, signage, presentations, websites, etc.).

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media and email marketing campaigns that align with other marketing strategies.

• Communicate about company updates and inform target audiences about products, services, and projects by writing articles, resources and press releases.

• Video recording and editing for social media, training, websites and other advertising opportunities.

• Photograph products, events, landscapes and team members.

• Assists with coordination of trade shows, customer events, conferences and company events in order to maximize ROI and accurately represent brand and culture.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 4 year college or equivalent work experience.

• 2+ years of professional marketing experience.

• Proficient experience in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).

• Proficient in the GSuite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and/or Microsoft Office and/or 

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to articulate well with a variety of departments.

• Highly organized, detail oriented with capability of managing multiple projects and tasks at once.

• Experience maintaining websites, specifically WordPress a plus.

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects a plus. 

• Spanish as a second language a plus.

 

HOURS OF WORK

• This position has the opportunity for hybrid work schedules with 1-2 days a week remote work and 3-4 days working in our Groveland, FL office.
