Order Fulfillment Assistant

JOB SUMMARY 

The Order Fulfillment Assistant will assist our Farm Manager in documenting and organizing daily activities. Administer the order fulfillment process, harvesting scheduling, inventory management, spray records and various other task activities. Coordinate daily with corporate sales team and provide constant updates of products.  Occasionally conduct tagging of products and taking pictures of plant material inventory.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Provide administrative support to the palm farm manager.

  • Coordinate with the Corporate based sales team to process just in time orders for delivery.

  • Assist customers who would like to hand tag material at the farm.

  • Communicate with sales team regarding product quality, specifications and availability as pertaining to their orders.

  • Coordinate with customers and truck drivers picking up material at the farm and address any issues as necessary.

  • Organize and document weekly work hours, daily sales orders, work reports, spray records and  preventative equipment maintenance.

  • Assist with documentation related to employees time keeping records and other administrative documents.  Communication with Payroll and Human Resources as needed.

  • Schedule material to be transferred to Groveland farm in order to maintain stock inventory available for shipment from that location.

  • Responsible for managing the inventory and ensuring accurate and detailed information is maintained in the ERP system.

  • Perform cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy in ERP system.

  • Provide regular specifications updates , pictures and inventory comments for sales team.

  • Assist Director of Sales to develop annual sales and harvesting plan.

  • Participate in master plan development and inventory flow model.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 2+ years industry experience.

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience.

  • Palm specific experience is a plus.

  • Customer Service and Sales Experience.

  • Spanish language skills a plus.

  • Strong computer skills (Gmail and Google apps)

 

REQUIRED LICENSES / HOURS OF WORK 

Valid Driver's License and clean MVR required

Monday through Friday, start and end times vary depending on organizational needs. May be required to work additional hours during peak times.
