Monitor landscape install to insure quality specifications are met.
Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
Conducts regular tailgate safety meetings.
Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/construction duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
Organizes, supervises, leads and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframe.
Enforces all client-required safety policies and procedures.
Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation.
Submits crew members’ timesheets into payroll by deadline.
Attends branch operation meetings as required.
Identify commonly used plants.
Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Employee supervision includes interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, applies feedback to improve performance and monitors own work to ensure quality.
Meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.
All other duties assigned.
3 + years of direct working experience in landscape installation.
Minimum of three year in a management or supervisory position with the ability conduct all employment practices related to managing and directing staff.
Computer skills using one or more spreadsheet and word-processing software application programs.
Must have demonstrated to be highly organized self motivated, and take pride in quality production in previous job(s).
Ability to operate various kinds of farm/construction equipment including trucks, tractors, mules and forklifts.
Valid Driver's License with clean MVR.
