Marketing Communication Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

The Lead Graphic Designer position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to unleash their creativity by working with a dynamic range of established and emerging brands in the food and agriculture industry. As the lead designer, you will have the chance to collaborate with multiple teams within the company, while leveraging your in-depth knowledge of branding, design, and marketing to deliver exceptional results.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong portfolio that showcases their expertise, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills required to collaborate with various stakeholders. They should have the versatility to adapt their design style based on the project and brand requirements. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is essential, with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience.

PURPOSE

To build connections, create content, share ideas, and inspire others around our events, brands, and purpose while supporting operational goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Packaging and Point of Sale Design: Collaborate with our teams to develop captivating packaging designs for our citrus products, including d-packs, cartons, and in-store point of sale signage. Ensure that the designs effectively communicate our brand message and enhance product appeal.

  • Print Collateral: Create visually appealing graphics for print materials such as brochures, business cards, event backdrops, signage, and flyers. Maintain brand consistency throughout all design materials and ensure they effectively convey our strategic initiatives.

  • Digital Graphic Design: Collaborate with the marketing team to produce eye-catching digital graphics for use on websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, and advertising initiatives. Craft visually appealing designs that captivate and engage our target audiences.

  • Apparel and Promo Product Design: Design uniquely themed branded apparel and medals for our annual Farm Races, as well as branded apparel for other events, team member celebrations, and promotional purposes. Showcase your creativity while aligning designs with our brand identity.

  • Logo Design: Collaborate with the marketing and cross-functional teams to create exceptional logos for both company and community initiatives. Develop visually captivating logos that effectively represent our brand and resonate with our audience.

  • Photography/Videography: Capture high-quality photos and videos for marketing purposes, including product images, behind-the-scenes content, and event coverage. Enhance and edit visual content to align with our brand aesthetics and storytelling.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • 2+ years of experience with Google Workplace (Slides, Sheets, Docs, etc.) and/or Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition are a plus.
  • Experience with photography and videography is a plus.
  • Technical degree (AA or Bachelor's) in graphic design or equivalent is preferred.

HOURS OF WORK

  • This position has the opportunity for hybrid work schedules with 1-2 days a week remote work and 3-4 days working in our Groveland, FL office.
